THIS 8-WEEK PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO TAKE YOUR HOME TRAINING TO THE NEXT LEVEL. THROUGHOUT THE 8 WEEKS, THE WORKOUTS ARE CREATED USING A VARIETY OF TEMPOS, PRE/POST EXHAUST METHODS, AND DIFFERING REP AND SET SCHEMES IN ORDER TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF YOUR HOME TRAINING. THE WORKOUTS ARE IN ALTERNATING TRAINING BLOCKS. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? YOU WILL REPEAT THE SAME PROGRAM IN WEEK 1 & 3, AND A NEW PROGRAM FOR 2 & 4, AND SO ON! THIS WAY IT KEEPS YOUR HOME TRAINING INTERESTING, AND YOU ARE ABLE TO PROGRESS WITH YOUR CORE MOVEMENT PATTERNS. THE PROGRAM IS PROGRESSIVE, MEANING THAT THE EXERCISES, METHODS AND DIFFICULTY LEVEL WILL INCREASE AND BE MORE CHALLENGING AS YOU MOVE FORWARD WITH THE WEEKS. AS HOME TRAINING OFTEN MEANS WE ARE LIMITED WITH EQUIPMENT AND THE ABILITY TO INCREASE LOAD, YOU WILL BE INTRODUCED TO NEW WAYS OF PROGRESSIVELY OVERLOADING TO BUILD MUSCLE, BURN FAT AND IMPROVE YOUR TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING. THESE WORKOUTS ARE GOING TO BE MORE METABOLIC THAN A STANDARD HYPERTROPHY WORKOUT GIVEN THE HIGHER VOLUME. WE WANT TO ENSURE OUR TOTAL ENERGY EXPENDITURE IS KEPT HIGH SO IT’S IMPORTANT TO PERFORM THESE EXERCISES TO NEAR FAILURE TO MAXIMIZE THE DEMAND ON YOUR BODY AND THEREFORE RESULTS.
